FOR THE SAKE OF STRENGTHENING OF THE EUROREGION “LOWER DANUBE”

“Strengthening of the Interboundary Cooperation in the Euroregion “Lower Danube” – is the name project, which has been started on the 28th of November. Realization of this project is connected inseparably with expansion of EU and forthcoming entry of Ukraine into WTO. Manager of the project in Ukraine – Valentina Stoykova informed, that the project was worked out by specialists from Moldova, Rumania and Ukraine. The financial support is realized by the International Renaissance FoundationThe interboundary cooperation is realized in Ukraine in the three Euroregions: “Lower Danube”, “Upper Prut”, “Siret-Prut-Dnestr”. The aim of the project is creation and development of relations between organizations, which work in sphere of economy, science, education, culture, and between institutions of local governing. Realization of the project consists of 5 stages/ The 1st one is organization of providing of the project, and here we should mention, that the financial support is carried out by the International Renaissance Foundation. The visit to Ukraine from the 28th of November till the 1st of December was the second stage of the project. It was connected with the start of the project and experience exchange. The next stage – travel to Rumania (8th-9th of December), then – visit to Moldova (14th-18th of December). Aim of all the visits – experience exchange. The concluding stage of realization of the project “Strengthening of the Interboundary Cooperation in the Euroregion “Lower Danube” will be working out recommendations for the Euroregion “Lower Danube” Council. |
